Childhood
Growing up in my father’s church, I had the exciting opportunity to be behind the scenes in the production booth, eagerly soaking up everything I could about the A/V world. My dad was a wonderful inspiration, always encouraging me to embrace opportunities to film or capture moments. I learned guitar and drums, and I absolutely loved being a musician in garage bands during my teenage years. I proudly took on the role of the “production guy” for every band I was in, fueling my passion for creativity and collaboration.
Coming of age
Musician
In high school, I was a big band nerd. Performing in front of an audience was exhilarating, and it deepened my appreciation for large productions, as well as my enthusiasm for music.
School
As I transitioned into adulthood, I attended “The Atlanta Institute of Music” for a Recording Engineering Certificate, where I gained practical knowledge and honed my audio production skills. The experience included hands-on learning, collaboration with peers, and a deepening passion for a career in music production.
Filming
Over the course of 10 years, I worked with various production companies, immersing myself in film and media through filming, editing, and producing. This experience allowed me to grow professionally and refine my skills alongside talented colleagues, leading to a deep love for the entire production process. Ultimately, I realized that pursuing a career in camera work would enable me to fully express my creativity and passion.
